Meeting Info:
  Want to support the arts? The Arts Council meets the third Tuesday of each month, unless moved due to a holiday. Meetings begin at 6:30 pm and are held in the Meeting Room at the Whitman County Library, Colfax Branch, 120 S. Main Street in Colfax, Washington. Everyone is welcome!
 
Banner Competition

 The Banner competition Is going on now. It's a public art competition for hand painted banners to hang in downtown colfax.  Enter your artwork today! This year's theme is "The Palouse Country". The juried competition is open to all ages and people from around the world. Download the entry form with all of the details here. The entry deadline is February 10, 2012!

Meet the Artist
 

   Join us at the Colfax Library for the Meet the Artist series, co-sponsored by the Whitman County Library. Held the first Thursday of every month at 7pm in the library's meeting room. Free and open to the public, this is an excellent opportunity to meet local artists, see their work and ask them questions.

     
 

February 2nd's guest artist is:
Hillary Hamm

    Hillary is a stylist, writer, compulsive crafter and impulsive collector who documents her work and play through project tutorials, recipes and generaly hilarity on her blog, the Thrillz of Hillz.

The March H'Art of the Palouse Banner Reception was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who particpated in this year's banner contest and made the event possible. Make sure you check out the banners along main street when driving through Colfax.
