to support the arts? The Arts Council meets the third Tuesday of each
month, unless moved due to a holiday. Meetings begin at 6:30 pm and
are held in the Meeting Room at the Whitman County Library, Colfax
Branch, 120 S. Main Street in Colfax, Washington. Everyone is welcome! |

Competition |

The
Banner competition Is going on now. It's a public art competition
for hand painted banners to hang in downtown colfax. Enter
your artwork today! This year's theme is "The Palouse Country".
The juried competition is open to all ages and people from around
the world. Download the entry form with all of the details here.
The entry deadline is February 10, 2012!

us at the Colfax Library for the Meet the Artist series,
co-sponsored by the Whitman County Library. Held the first
Thursday of every month at 7pm in the library's meeting room.
Free and open to the public, this is an excellent opportunity
to meet local artists, see their work and ask them questions.

March H'Art of the Palouse Banner Reception was a huge success!
Thank you to everyone who particpated in this year's banner contest
and made the event possible. Make sure you check out the banners
along main street when driving through Colfax.
