to support the arts? The Arts Council meets the third Tuesday of each
month, unless moved due to a holiday. Meetings begin at 6:30 pm and
are held in the Meeting Room at the Whitman County Library, Colfax
Branch, 120 S. Main Street in Colfax, Washington. Everyone is welcome! |

Competition |
| The
Banner competition is a public art competition
for hand painted banners to hang in downtown colfax. The 2012 competition is closed and the theme was "The Palouse Country".
The juried competition is open to all ages and people from around
the world. Start thinking of your banner idea for next year and join us for the celebration at the Colfax Library May 3, 2012. |
The Community is invited to the celebration and announcement of the People's Choice award. The reception is May 3rd at 7 pm at the Colfax Library. Refreshments will be served. |

the Artist |
Join
us at the Colfax Library for the Meet the Artist series,
co-sponsored by the Whitman County Library. Held the first
Thursday of every month at 7pm in the library's meeting room.
Free and open to the public, this is an excellent opportunity
to meet local artists, see their work and ask them questions. |
